Inter Amicos LLC (“we”, “us”) publishes the Bar Fest iOS app. This policy describes how Bar Fest handles information. Contact: iedwards@interamicos.com. We are based in Columbus, Ohio.
Who this app is for
Bar Fest is a nightlife app about bars, venues, deals, and local chat. It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, email iedwards@interamicos.com.
Information the app can collect
Anonymous ID
Bar Fest does not require an account, name, phone number, or email. The app creates a random identifier and stores it in the iOS Keychain on your device. That ID is used to associate your chat posts, location presence, and similar activity with your install of the app. It is not your Apple ID.
Location, only if you allow it
Bar Fest uses location to show nearby venues, crowd cues, and features that depend on being at or near a location. You can deny location or change it later in iOS Settings. If location is off, features that need it will be limited.
Chat
If you post, we store the message text, an anonymous author ID and associated avatar/icon, as well as the time and thread the post belongs to. Other people using Bar Fest can see the post and avatar. They do not see your name, contact, or any personal details from us.
Reports and optional submissions
You may report a chat post, send feedback about a venue, deal, or event, or submit a wait-time impression. We store what you submit, along with the anonymous ID when the app sends it, so we can operate and moderate the service.

If you email iedwards@interamicos.com, we receive whatever you include in that message (your address, the text, and any attachments).
Technical data needed to run the service
Our backend receives the requests the app makes (for example to load venues, deals, events, chat, and presence). That can include standard server logs such as time, request type, and IP address.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not ask you to sign in with a social account. We do not use your contacts, photos, or microphone for Bar Fest.
How we use information
We use this information to operate Bar Fest: show the map and listings, show live and recent venue activity, deliver chat, review reports and feedback, fix problems, and answer email you send us.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to this app, including HTTPS and access controls on our backend. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of Bar Fest after the update means you accept the updated policy.
