These terms govern your use of the Bar Fest iOS app and the related pages on iamicos.com, operated by Inter Amicos LLC, Columbus, Ohio. Contact: iedwards@interamicos.com.

The service

Bar Fest provides a nightlife map and related information, including venues, deals, events, crowd cues, and local chat. Right now that coverage is Columbus. Listings are for convenience. Hours, deals, events, crowd levels, and wait impressions can be incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for your own plans and for complying with venue rules and the law.

Location

Location is optional and controlled in iOS Settings. You can turn location off at any time.

Acceptable use

Do not use Bar Fest to harass, threaten, or harm anyone. Do not post illegal content. Do not impersonate someone else. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, scrape it in a way that degrades it, or misuse another person’s information. We may remove chat posts, listings feedback, or other content, and we may limit access, if we believe these terms or the law require it.

Anonymous chat

Chat does not use your real name. You are still responsible for what you post. Other users can see your posts and avatar.

No account

Bar Fest does not require an account. An anonymous ID on your device is used to operate features such as chat and presence.

Intellectual property

The Bar Fest name, app, and our site content belong to Inter Amicos LLC or our licensors. Venue names and deal information may belong to the venues. You keep what you post, and you give us permission to host, display, and moderate it as needed to run Bar Fest.

Disclaimers

Bar Fest is provided as-is. Crowd counts, recent activity, deals, events, and wait impressions are informational. We do not guarantee that a venue is safe, open, or a good place to go.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Inter Amicos LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of Bar Fest. Our total liability for a claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the three months before the claim (if you paid nothing, that amount is zero). Some places do not allow these limits; in those places, the limits apply only as far as the law allows.

Our Privacy Policy at https://iamicos.com/privacy is part of these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date.
